Investigators from the Nassau County Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a man who allegedly stole thousands of dollars worth of tools from the Ipswich House apartments in Great Neck.

Police said that the suspect, who was caught on camera before leaving the scene removed $13,000 worth of tools from the building’s storage area in Great Neck Plaza on Tuesday, July 16. The same suspect was seen again leaving the building in a silver SUV two days later on Thursday, July 18.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot-10 African American in his 30s or 40s weighing approximately 170 pounds with a medium build and a beard. His vehicle was described as a 2012 through 2016 silver Hyundai Sante Fe with white license plates.
